Job Description

The Kraft Foods Group, Mount Royal site, is recognized as a World Class Facility who mainly supplies Process Cheese, Cream Cheese, Peanut Butter and Pourable Salad Dressings. The plant is a diversified manufacturing site based on team work and operates on a 24 hours and 7 days schedule. Mount Royal is recognized for its product mix and technologies, for its quality controls, communication and continuous improvement processes.

Job description:

The Production Operator works on machines and/or computerized equipments needed for manufacturing food products; the incumbent could be assigned to a process, filling or packing position. In addition, he has to clean and sanitize his equipment and ensure the cleanliness of his work environment. He is an engaged team player aiming to reach the targeted results such as: quality of finished goods, production schedule, costs, health & safety and sustainability. The Production operator is actively involved in continuous improvement Lean Six Sigma initiatives. At any time, the Production Operator must be respectful of regulations, programs and standards established by Kraft, mainly concerning people and food security.

Minimum Qualifications

Qualifications:

  • High school Diploma (secondary 5) or equivalent studies approved by the Quebec Government; College Diploma (DEC) in Food Sciences & Technologies or in a related field will be considered as an asset;
  • Minimum of 3 years of work experience in a manufacturing environment, as a Production Operator;
  • Fluent in French (spoken and written);
  • At ease to work with mechanical equipment
  • At ease with computer and Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, Outlook)
