MARKETING OPERATIONS FINANCE TEAM:

We are currently recruiting for an Assistant Manager within our Marketing Operations Finance Team.  The preferred candidate(s) will have passion for and experience in the areas of financial analysis, budgeting and forecasting, project management, process implementation and internal business operations.

You love working with a diverse group of individuals from all levels of the organization. You get excited by developing and implementing new tools and processes that increase business efficiency and improve operations. You love to multitask and manage multiple deliverables at the same time.

Ideally you have experience working in finance and/or marketing; perhaps you have grown through the ranks and so you understand that what happens at the ground level ultimately impacts the overall success of a program or project.

Job Objectives:

As a member of the Marketing Operations Finance Team, you will adopt the role of a financial and operational leader within a specific client group. Your job is to work in partnership with the Client Service Team to manage the details, finances and back-end processes, so that they can stay focused on managing and growing the business. You will be responsible for overseeing the business unit's planning and development, run its P&L and overall forecasting/financials, be the hub of communication with internal business partners, as well as provide operational support for the broader Canadian business unit.

Qualifications

  • University degree in Business/Finance
  • CMA/CPA (completed or in progress) a strong asset
  • 1-3 years of industry experience
  • 1-3 years of financial experience
  • Extremely detail-oriented
  • Excellent multi-tasking and project management skills
  • Advanced Excel skills
  • Experience in the areas of finance, budgeting, forecasting and internal business operations
  • Demonstrated analytical and math skills
  • Exceptional communication skills, comfortable presenting to large groups
  • Eagerness to develop/improve new tools and processes to increase the internal efficiency of the organization
  • Procurement savvy, understanding of internal cost control
