Job Description

The E-Commerce Sales Manager is responsible for developing and implementing strategies to generate drastic sales growth for Amazon and all pure-play online retailers, including Direct To Consumer (DTC) platform. This role will be responsible to achieve annual sales goals and will be the point person for the buying team, while working in conjunction with Supply Chain to manage Demand Planning and forecasting needs for each account. With focus on driving traffic & sales, the E-Commerce Sales Manager will also implement AMS campaigns and A+content, to maximize Return On Investment. Critical to the success of this position is the support and interaction with internal and external cross functional teams, including sales, marketing, forecasting, planning, retailer services and customer contacts within each retail account. This position reports directly to the Vice President of Sales, with a dotted line to the Vice President of Marketing, and is located at our Canadian head office in Vaughan, Ontario.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Develop, drive and implement the national e-commerce strategy in line with the overall business strategy to drive disproportionate sales growth for eTailer accounts.
  • Manage product assortment including innovation roadmap, pricing, promotional calendar and content optimization.
  • Manage Amazon Sponsored Product Ad campaigns and Promotions, including Amazon storefront.
  • Develop and execute annual DTC plan to reach sales and performance targets, including assortment, promotional calendar and content optimization.
  • Serve as lead for creating a best in class user experience across all DTC touch points: digital engagement, fulfillment, returns processing, etc.
  • Manage all day-to-day e-commerce operations including the P&L of the e-commerce structure.
  • Manage and expand the online business working closely and developing solid relationships with key partnering accounts.

Education and Experience Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in business and/or marketing; master’s degree preferred.

3+ years of work experience in Digital / E-Commerce sales including Amazon.

Experience launching/managing a dotcom store is an asset.

Other Skills and Abilities

Strong knowledge of digital technology landscape and tools.

Strong negotiating and analytical skills with the ability to translate into impactful business results.

Optimism and a natural drive to deliver results is a must. Strategic thinker with a strong business acumen.

Strong interpersonal, writing, and presentation skills.

French is an asset.
