SBI Smart Brands International [America] isafast paced,growing North American sales and marketing office that specializes inconsumer-basedproducts includingautomotive accessories, consumer lighting products and household goods under national brands. SBI is focused on developing retail programs with North American Retailers and Distributors and is looking for the right individual to drive the sales campaign.

This challenging but rewarding position calls for a passionate and energetic sales professional who has a successful track record of driving new business while also managing relationships with existing accounts. You are confident in your ability to discover and capitalize on new sales opportunities and are eager to learn and grow your career. If you have solid sales and account management experience within the CPG Industry in the US and Canadian retail channels, then we want to hear from you.

Your Responsibilities:

  • Generate and grow sales within existing customer base. Capitalize on account opportunities and look at ways to grow your accounts
  • Develop new customers and new distribution channels. Consistently seek new revenue sources and opportunities
  • Manage and maintain current business relationships
  • Attend and participate in trade shows and other sales events
  • Contributeincorporate sales and marketing efforts such as marketing programs, packaging development, retail research, etc.

Think you have what it takes?

  • Minimum five (5) years of successful account management experience in the North American consumer goods market with a proven record in sales in the US and Canadian markets
  • You are self-directed with the ability to work in a fast-paced environment with multipleaccount responsibilities
  • You are a team playerwith the ability to work on high collaboration and performance teams
  • You have strong analytical skills and a passion for delivering results
  • Ability to work from home 3-4 days with 1-2 days available to be in the office for product training,meetingsand preparation.Ability to work from home as well as our Vaughan based office (50/50 split) based on business need.
  • Must be available when working from home for video calls within the organization and with customers
  • Ability to “Close the Deal” while understanding the long-term goals
  • Strong business acumen
  • Experience in national brand development
  • Skilled in Microsoft Office (Excel and PowerPoint)
  • Excellent team player in an interactive, small office environment
  • Post-Secondary education is required(BA/Comm desired)
  • Ability to travel to the US and overseas (once safe and open to do so)

Considerations given to:

  • Previous account management with tier I retailers; mass merchants, hardware, automotive aftermarket, big box,cluband drug/grocery (within general merchandise categories)
  • Experience working with 3PL and/or distributors
  • Vendor portals such as Retail Link,SAP based customer systems
