POSITION TITLE: District Manager

REPORTING TO: Ontario Sales Manager

Reporting to the Ontario Sales Manager, the District Manager is responsible for management of the Sales Representatives in their assigned district, ensuring sales targets are met or exceeded, and providing coaching and guidance for further engagement and development. Other duties include developing selling strategies for the district, handling complex sales queries, and achieving efficient inventory management to ensure a high level of sales support as well as safe custody/storage of business assets. The ideal candidate will be a self-starter with a drive to win, enjoys working in a fast-paced environment, demonstrates a safety focused mindset, and displays a passion for exceeding customer expectations.


Sales Management

  • Providing daily support to the team members assigned district, including operations route and vacation coverage as required
  • Provide guidance by participating in setting goals and priorities for team members to achieve weekly and monthly targets through one-on-ones, district conference calls, and meetings
  • Generating and developing business reports related to district accounts and activities
  • Participating in the selection and on-boarding processes, as well as ongoing training and development
  • Managing the execution and compliance of Red Bull Canada, BioSteel, JUUL Labs Inc., Jack Links programs within the district
  • Developing and managing strong working relationships with key customers and accounts, addressing customer concerns in a professional, productive, and timely manner

Warehouse Management

  • Participating in fleet and warehouse management, which may include product delivery and shipping and receiving
  • Running order picks in an efficient and timely manner
  • Responsible for layout, cleanliness, loading procedures, and overall service of warehouse
  • Provide recommendations for efficient space utilization and potential cost savings
  • Ensuring sanitation schedules are completed and team members are adhering to
    COVID policies and regulations

Knowledge and Skills:

  • 5+ years of direct work experience in an external sales capacity
  • 2+ years of direct experience in management/supervisory position
  • High School Diploma or GED
  • Knowledge of Direct Sales Distribution preferred
  • Strong problem identification and objection resolution skills
  • Able to build and maintain lasting relationships with customers
  • Exceptional verbal communication and presentation skills
  • Excellent listening skills
  • Strong written communication skills
  • Exceptional time management skills
  • Self motivated, with high energy and an engaging level of enthusiasm
  • Able to perform basic calculations and mathematical figures
  • A clean driver’s abstract with at least 3+ years driving experience


  • Occasional driving of a company truck to and from accounts
  • Lifting up to 50lbs
  • Working in all weather conditions
  • Patience and reliability, with the capability to navigate through traffic and road conditions
