About the Role
We are seeking an
Area Sales Ambassador for an amazing opportunity to play a critical role in
must-win markets. The Area Sales Ambassador’s core responsibility
is to grow Partake’s meaningful presence within their market, working with
Distributor reps to identify opportunities for retail sell-in and consumer
pull-through. Our Area Sales Ambassadors act as the mouthpiece of our current
drinkers and prospects, designing and executing strategies for local brand
engagement while sharing audience insights with the broader team. Reporting to
the Field Sales Manager, the individual in this role will work autonomously on
a full time basis, flexing over time to meet the seasonal needs of the market
while supporting events, sampling/demos and other outreach. At all times the
Area Sales Ambassador will professionally represent Partake, delivering
exceptional consumer, distributor and retailer engagement.
What You’ll Be
Doing
- Work autonomously to establish,
develop, and grow a strong base of on-premise and off-premise accounts.
- Complete daily account
visit reports, monthly expense reports, and other surveys and reports as
required.
- At Distributor Level:
- Partner with distributors
to ensure the fulfillment of accounts’ needs.
- Work with distributor reps
to open new accounts; sell in incremental SKUs and packages during
ride-withs.
- Manage POS needs and
placement within the market.
- At Retail Level:
- Identify and successfully
sell to new customers, with a focus on the local independent channel.
- Secure distribution,
display and secondary space, shelf facings and share of cold box.
- Maintain positive business
relationships and communication with account owners, managers, and
buyers.
- Provide excellent customer
service by developing a regular route and call pattern.
- Introduce and sell in new
flavors and packages as and when launched.
- Conduct store audits.
- At Consumer Level:
- Support a local
sampling/guerilla marketing agency to prompt consumer trial and purchase.
- Source and coordinate local
event activity.
- Interface with in-market
[social media] influencers and press during key promotional windows.
Qualifications
& Skills
- Bachelor’s Degree required
(Business Preferred)
- Minimum 3+ years in
sales/territory management for CPG and/or beverage/beer experience
- Cross-functional experience
in trade, marketing is preferred.
- Demonstrates ability to
understand customer needs and apply appropriate solutions.
- Takes personal
responsibility for decisions, delivering results and exceeding
expectations
- High-energy, enthusiastic,
self-motivated, self-disciplined, competitive, assertive, and
goal-oriented self-starter with the desire to succeed.
- Be able to work
independently and also collaboratively with the rest of the sales,
marketing, and operations teams to accomplish goals.
- Be able to manage a
territory from a home-office base.
- Strong organizational
skills and ability to manage multiple tasks with strong attention to
detail.
- Possess excellent
problem-solving and time management skills.
- Possess excellent verbal
and written communication as well as interpersonal skills.
- Be able to travel daily and
work flexible hours, including nights and weekends and participate in
evening and weekend promotions and assist with special events as
necessary.
- Have a registered, insured,
and dependable vehicle, as well as a safe driving record and valid
driver’s license.
- The ability to drive to and
from accounts regularly.
- Have a valid passport and
be able to travel both within the USA and Canada.
- Understanding and passion
of Non-Alc space is preferable

This is a full-time
role that reports to the Field Sales Manager. This position is a remote working
role located in a must-win Canada market. Travel will be required within the
market and also for broader team meetings outside the market.
