Job Description

We are on a wild ride and are actively seeking a Digital Marketing & Social Media Specialist to join our marketing team and help us grow our digital brand.

Duties & Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute an effective social media strategy to continue to grow overall audience and engagement across different platforms, while maintaining our brand personality.
  • Work alongside the design team to generate unique and engaging on various social media platforms including, but not limited to Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, TikTok etc.
  • Manage day-to-day organic social media activities, including posting, monitoring, optimizing, responding, and engaging with our social community.
  • Collaborate and build relationships with industry professionals and influencers to create and boost our network and partnerships with giveaways and features.
  • Manage content syndication and distribution.
  • Experiment with and test new social media platforms, best practices, and strategy
  • Set an experimentation calendar and test hypotheses around the optimal editorial, engagement, and content syndication strategies.
  • Recommend and implement scalable learnings.
  • Assist in the planning and execution of email marketing initiatives.
  • Analyze and report on campaign and platform performance.
  • Stay up to date with the latest social media best practices and technologies, as well as industry trends.
  • Manage a few projects simultaneously, with ease.

Skills & Qualifications

  • Post-secondary degree or diploma in Marketing, Advertising, Communications or a related field AND/OR at least 2 year’s experience running a branded social media account, experience with CMS platforms
  • Strong copywriting, editing, and proofreading skills
  • Knowledge of online marketing channels
  • Excellent communication and editorial skills
  • Analytical and multitasking skills and ability to meet tight deadlines
  • An eye for content curation
  • Familiarity using data to adjust and optimize strategy for both web and social media
  • Organized and diligent
  • Ability to wear many hats, while working in a dynamic environment
  • Familiarity with web design a bonus!
  • Preference given to those with experience with Klaviyo and Shopify

Salary: $35,000 -37,000
