We are currently hiring a National Account Manager
responsible for nurturing and developing long-term relationships with one or
more national accounts, connecting with key customers, and driving sales on
behalf of our clients.
Position Summary:
Our National Account Managers are the link between
our manufacturer partners, retail partners, distributor partners, and Marsham.
They are self-starters who have the ability to really “own” their account(s)
and partner with key decision makers to sell our manufacturer’s brands, develop
creative programs and manage/grow the business. This full-time dynamic position
requires the ability to focus on ongoing goals and objectives while managing
the details associated with day-to-day head office sales and overall business
development.
Primary Responsibilities:
· Presenting and selling in new items, new product placement opportunities,
developing impactful promotional strategies, and creating and executing on
manufacturer and retailer goals
· Understanding and utilizing data such as Nielsen, Power BI, Retailer
POS data, store level white space reports and distributor data is an important
aspect of reaching our sales goals and meeting manufacturer expectations within
your accounts
· Deliver and develop strategic plans in support of annual growth
plans on behalf of Client partners
· Manage the day-to-day business relationships of all assigned
National Accounts & Client partners
· Proactively assess, clarify, and validate Customer/Clients needs
on an ongoing basis
- Trade spend
management, monthly forecasting, and deduction management
- Conduct detailed
ROI analytics & post-event analysis staying within Client budgets
- Team collaboration
to align on approach and execution of Clients' KPIs
- Travel
as required to deliver and facilitate presentations with customers and
partners and represent the business at key trade shows in their respective
market
What we are looking for:
· Strong selling skills – negotiation, presentation, public
speaking
· Dependable, extroverted, diplomatic person, able to
problem-solve successfully with a wide variety of people and issues
· Knowledge and interest of the natural products/brands and retail
landscape is a plus
· Proficient computer (MS Office applications) and data-mining
skills
· Flexibility to successfully multi-task in a fast-paced
environment with a positive attitude
· Ability to manage time and deadlines
· Hands-on team player with the ability to work collaboratively
and cross-functionally to achieve optimal results
· Strong organizational skills and prioritization abilities
·Excellent
presentation and selling skills across multiple audiences of management and
national CPG Accounts/Clients
