Job Description

Position Summary:

The Brand Business Assistant role is to support a strong working relationship with our Client partners by gathering market information, updating monthly standard reporting tools and assisting in the day-to-day operations as required by the SVP Innovation & Brand Development

Primary Responsibilities: 

  • Work with Client partners to collect, organize, and file required documents leveraged by Marsham’s Sales team, Distributor team, and Manager

  • Populate standardized sales reporting templates and analyze data for Client partners and Manager

  • Gather information to complete document submissions for listing packages, price increases, discontinuation notices and promotional planners in an accurate and timely manner

  • Create and update Client deal sheets to assist the Sales team in selling to the retailers

  • Maintain and communicate up-to-date Client information and documents across various platforms to ensure priorities are executed

  • Participate in Client meetings and conference calls as needed

  • Assist in ad hoc initiatives

  • Assist with collection of Distributor deductions and supporting documents

  • Assist in preparation of and participate in various industry events

  Reports to:  

  • Senior Vice President Innovation & Brand Development

Requirements:

  • Minimum 2 years administrative experience & post-secondary graduate

Competencies: 

  • Excellent organizational skills, self-starter, problem solver, strong communication skills

  • Ability to work independently, make decisions where appropriate and meet predetermined as well as unexpected deadlines

  • Competent in Microsoft applications (Excel, PowerPoint, Word, etc.)

  • Able to manage multiple priorities while setting goals and objectives amongst many brands to meet deadlines

  • Able to manage multiple Clients’ and Retailers’ priorities in delivering to annual objectives
