Sales Finance Manager
The Sales
Finance Manager plays a critical role in helping to co-pilot the business,
supporting the Sales team and Finance Director. This technical role will
co-pilot the Sales team on most initiatives and as such will be fully
integrated into the S&OP+ process. The role will also be responsible
for timely and insightful period end reporting, leveraging cross-functional
resources and other finance associates. The role will support the Finance
Director to ensure the period S&OP+ process is well governed and delivers
appropriate insights, reporting and actions that will result in effective
decisions across the business. Further, the role has key governance
responsibilities around trade spend.
What are we looking for?
- Professional
Accountant (CPA) or MBA with at least 6 years of experience demonstrating
very strong financial acumen and understanding of financial processes and
standards.
- Excellent
analytical skills that allow for insights to be identified from various
sources for data.
- Excellent
verbal and written communication skills. The ability to prepare
concise and insightful messaging to highlight business issues.
- Knowledge
of SAP an asset
- Excellent
interpersonal and analytical skills and ‘can-do’ attitude that result in
effective influencing
What would be your key responsibilities?

Co-pilot the Sales Director and the Sales
team.

Represent Finance at the S&OP+ Step 2 and
Step 4 meetings by playing a leading role and driving process improvement.
- Work with Sales on ad-hoc requests and
customer asks to drive profitability and return on investment for
promotions and seasonal offerings that are sustainable
- Support
the annual planning process, bringing the growth building blocks to life
with Sales team and FP&A Manager
- Deliver
timely, accurate and robust Period End process and reporting relating to
NSV and trade
- Work
closely with retail team to track spend and identify opportunities and
trends
- Finance
governance role relating to trade spend management
