Job Summary

The Digital Sales Specialist drives accelerated online sales growth of the Veterinary business, working closely with field sales teams & ecommerce partners. Supports the development of new online business, customer performance & sales insights.

Key Responsibilities

  • Identify opportunities to achieve profitable online sales growth objectives within assigned territory
  • Utilize strong selling skills, developing & understanding customer needs to increase online growth of Royal Canin product sales
  • Drive online penetration & customer performance through the development of online sales analytics & insights reports
  • Develop & maintain strong relationships with field sales teams to drive increased team engagement
  • Provide strategic advice, helping customers build their omni-channel businesses by working closely in a consultative capacity
  • Collaborate closely with internal ecommerce & digital team as well as external ecommerce partner teams
  • Create & deliver effective sales presentations during customer meetings that result in increased online SKU penetration & growth
  • Deliver world-class customer service within assigned territory by responding to customer inquiries in a timely & professional manner
  • Develop & maintain a high technical competency of ecommerce-related tools & various platforms that generate additional revenue for clinics
  • Attend & participate in digital & industry trade shows as well as company meetings as required
  • Effectively manage all program & expense budgets, within set guidelines
  • Create & execute territory call plan to achieve goals

Key knowledge and experience

  • Bachelor’s degree
  • 2+ years sales experience
  • Strong knowledge of ecommerce & digital sales preferred
  • B2B sales experience with small to medium sized businesses a plus
  • Excellent verbal & written communication as well as interpersonal skills
  • Strong computer skills using Excel, Word & PowerPoint
