The Activity Manager is accountable for the
successful delivery of Royal Canin Canada Cross-Pillar activities (Vet, SPT,
PRO) including; product innovation/renovation, new packs & sizes, sales
samples, on-pack promotions and merchandising vehicles (pre-pack tools).
The Activity Manager must define, manage/monitor timelines, implement the
activity, resolve cross functional issues, early identification of issues based
on leading indicators, ensure decisions are made and actions are taken,
identify and communicate risks and adhere to the business and S&OP+
process. The Activity Manager is responsible for facilitating issue
identification, alternatives and recommendations. The Activity Manager
will also provide consultation on rationalization and support/maintenance
activities. The Activity Manager owns the process protocol &
continuous improvement for Activity Management, as well as helping to support
the end-to-end planning process of the organization.

2+ years at Mars, in any function that interfaces with Activity Management
(Marketing, Supply Chain, Sales)Orminimum 3-5 years
externally in Project Management or Related Function

dealing with ambiguity in a complex organization or setting
understanding of annual planning process internally (S&OP)
in Agile project management an asset
in areas such as (but not exclusive to): activity management, product
commercialization, project management and planning
communicate and report back on tracking of regionally led projects to
ensure local timelines and requirements are being considered and ensuring
there is a voice for the local market team at the regional level
- Coordinate the development of project
timelines, identify and agree in key decision points and issues.
Understand/implement the business process and use it to plan and deliver
the project to the highest levels
- Facilitate the AM process: set up and chair
meetings, resolve cross-functional issues and agree on actions arising,
follow up on actions, define and report on milestones. Keep team members
fully updated on progress of the activity and ensure inputs from all
functions are on time and as required. Identify critical decisions
and ensure full sign-on to agreed solutions. Ensure that the project plan
is developed, and all members of activity team sign on to it.
Project manage to the final launch and review the activity
- The Activity Manager will develop system and
process improvements to help deliver best in class end-to-end
planning. Enhance interconnectivity among functions to drive root
cause analysis and continuous improvement
