Job Description

Reporting to the Director, Supply Chain Planning, the Manager, Supply Chain Planning role is critical in implementing and managing the Supply Chain Planning Process for a given portfolio. The goal is to deliver highly optimized plans which maximize case fill while minimizing inventory investment and excess inventory.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead the development and collaborate demand plans at product segment level with sales and marketing
  • Develop and maintain inventory planning processes and targets for given portfolio
  • Establish forecasting techniques and inventory targets to meet desired Lindt service levels
  • Lead S&OP meetings with Sales, Marketing, Finance, Supply Chain, including senior management
  • Prepare and communicate KPIs on forecast accuracy and inventory measurements to management and leads action plans to improve current process
  • Establish launch volumes as well as exit strategies with sales and marketing
  • Assess current systems, tools and processes, and make recommendations for improvements
  • Manage, coach and mentor team of demand and supply planners

Qualifications & Competencies:

  • Education & Experience: Post-secondary education in business/supply chain preferred, coupled with 5+ years’ experience in a similar role
  • Relationship Management: Ability to leverage interpersonal skills to establish rapport and develop relationships with all key stakeholders
  • Planning & Prioritization: Effectively plan what is to be achieve while coordinating and involving all relevant stakeholders. Must demonstrate necessary sequence and efficient level of resources required to achieve short and long term goals
  • Problem Solving: Able to evaluate and solve problematic situations. Must demonstrate ability to display chosen best course of action by using logic, judgement, and data
  • Results Focused: Drive for achieving and surpassing targets.
  • Passion and commitment to continuous improvement
  • Professionalism: Ability to think about the likely effects on others of your words, actions, and behaviors. Must select words and actions most likely to have the desired effect on people
