HERE’S A TASTE OF WHAT YOU’LL BE DOING

Market Performance Analytics –Perform issue/opportunity analysis to enable discovery of market and brand insights, resulting in clear recommendations to influence plans and strategies. Leverage third party data sources and advanced analytic tools to support/lead regular and ad hoc reporting needs. You will have the freedom to identify new approaches and tools to accelerate the ability to leverage, integrate, and apply data to drive deeper understanding of business dynamics and resulting opportunities to enhance performance.

Marketing Mix Modeling Studies– Lead annual Market Mix Modeling research, from design optimization through execution, encompassing a range of categories and global brands with complex support models. With your expertise, you will drive clear interpretation and socialization of key learning and implications to enable continuous ROI improvement

KPI Tracking -Lead ongoing scorecarding/measurement of key business metrics (e.g. communications/media, innovation performance)

Nielsen Homescan Lead –Support tracking of category, brand, and innovation performance by serving as primary liaison between Kellogg and Nielsen teams, managing monthly calendar of Homescan studies, and leading socialization of resulting insights and implications for all analyses (quarterly, annual, ad hoc).

Integrated Commercial Analytics– Partner with IT to build and launch an enhanced data infrastructure and visualization tool, integrating data streams across all aspects of the commercial business to forge a path to more efficient, analytic-based decision making.

Global Connectivity –Represent Canada within the Kellogg Global Analytics community, maintaining regular cadence of connects with lead colleagues for sharing of best practices.

YOUR RECIPE FOR SUCCESS

Required

  • Bachelor’s Degree – Marketing, Business, Statistics, Math or other related
  • Minimum 8-10 years within CPG analytics, including client-side experience (ideally in food-related industry), and experience supporting Marketing/Insights teams
  • Deep experience leading Marketing Mix Modelling across a variety of brands/categories with complex support models (mass/digital media, shopper); demonstrated ability to deliver clear results and implications to improve ROI
  • Adept at working with, and leveraging data from, POS platforms and CPG third party market performance data (at minimum Nielsen Answers/Connect) with a strong understanding of KPIs and analysis frameworks
  • Deep experience leading design and interpretation of Nielsen Homescan studies, including: Market Summary data, Trial & Repeat, Source of Volume, New/Lost/Retained, custom analyses
  • Leveraging data for action: Ability to triangulate data across multiple sources and derive compelling insights, applying strong visualization and storytelling skills in development of clear recommendations to influence decision-making across the organization, including with Senior Management
  • Shaping the future: Ability to translate business partner needs and design solutions to enable decision-making (data integration, commissioning of analytic tools/studies/models, visualization, scorecarding, reporting)
  • Experience working in a matrix environment leading cross-functional peers and key project groups, requiring a highly creative, collaborative, persuasive style
  • Desire and ability to work in a fast-paced, high pressure environment with many stakeholders

  • Brand marketing experience and experience with brand communication tracking (mass/digital), and digital media analytics are a benefit
