HERE’S A TASTE OF WHAT YOU’LL BE DOING

  • Program & Project Management –You will support the Shopper Marketing team with project management for coupon programs, at-shelf media, and product sampling. You will assist with executing the National Shopper Marketing Program Calendar, tracking and maintaining the budget for the programs, and assisting with compiling and sharing post-analysis results. You will work closely with vendor partners and agency partners to complete projects on-brand, on-time, and on-budget. Deliver success through your enthusiasm, confidence and ability to connect with Sales and Marketing teams.
  • Creative Development –We will need you to be creative and to develop and take charge of coordinating marketing materials such as flyer ads, coupon designs, sampling collateral (posters, recipe booklets), social and digital tactics as well as internal and external selling presentations.
  • Omni-commerce Marketing –execution and activation will depend on impacting shopper behavior across key trade channels
  • Metric Tracking -You will measure and track success metrics for key shopper marketing programs and initiatives.
  • Key Stakeholder Relationships –People are at the heart of what we do. You will manage communication and alignment for shopper marketing activities with stakeholders such as, brand marketing, sales strategy, account management teams, category management, shopper insights, and agency partners.

YOUR RECIPE FOR SUCCESS

Required:

  • University Degree with an emphasis in Business Administration, Marketing, or related field
  • Experience in marketing related position, such as account management, shopper marketing, and/or trade marketing
  • Proven project management skills with a bias for action
  • Strong analytical skills & business acumen (ability to interpret data, draw conclusions and recommend actionable insights)
  • Demonstrated experience with fiscal responsibilities and budget management capabilities
  • Exceptional interpersonal skills in order to effectively source information, obtain approvals, build relationships, and provide sufficient influence to achieve success
  • High proficiency in Excel, Word and PowerPoint
  • Excellent written and oral communication and presentation skills
  • Desire and ability to work in a fast-paced, high pressure environment with rapidly changing priorities, with strong attention to detail and follow through

Bonus Points:

  • Prior Shopper Marketing experience
  • Thorough understanding of customer strategy and tactics
  • Experience in the CPG industry
  • Agency experience
  • Knowledge of retail customer base, retail buying dynamics and shopper behavior metrics
  • Understanding of consumer/shopper based analytical systems and tools, such as Nielsen and Shopper Segmentation
