HERE’S A
TASTE OF WHAT YOU’LL BE DOING
- Partnership with the
SalesTeam–Ensuring Account teams stay on their trade budget
and identifying any risks and opportunities through Month End and
Integrated Business Process (IBP) process.Working with the Revenue
Growth Management, Account and Sales Strategy teams to come up with action
plans to improve top-line, trade spending efficiency and customer
profitability. Educating the Sales teams on key financial metrics to help
enhance sales and trade performance and ensuring alignment with company
strategies and financial objectives.
- Trade Management
Analysis- Reviewing regional sales plans in sales/trade planning
tool for data integrity and trade spend efficiency.Providing
accurate monthly account reporting & variance analysis on customer trade
spending and profitability versus plan to Account Executives and Sales
Directors.
- Financial Subject
Matter Expert –Developing in-depth knowledge of trade spend and
account strategies, customer profit and loss statements, pricing analytics
and strategies, promotional Return on Investment (ROI), month end and
budget process, and deductions management. Evaluating alternative pricing
scenarios and be able to model their financial impact.
- Cross-Functional
Relationships–Being a business partner to the Global Business
Services (GBS) and Account teams by monitoring and assisting with the
timely clearing of deductions and the proper accrual of trade liabilities.
- Continuous Improvement
–Developing and continually improving processes through consistent
and standardized set of financial analysis, models, tools and performance
measurement to make information gathering and analysis more efficient and
effective.
- Controls and
Compliance-Maintaining comprehensive internal controls through
documentation, testing, and education of policies and procedures.
YOUR
RECIPE FOR SUCCESS
Required:
- Post-secondary
education, Business Degree in Accounting/Finance/Commerce
- Proven work experience
in a finance business support role with a focus on budgeting, forecasting,
trade spend and pricing financial analysis
- Proficiency in
Microsoft Office, especially advanced knowledge of Excel (including Pivot
Tables, vlookups, filters).
- Results oriented team
player with demonstrated financial, interpersonal, communication and
organizational skills.
- Effective time
management and results-oriented and able to multi-task efficiently and
effectively
Bonus
Points:
- University degree in
Accounting, Finance, Commerce, or related field
- Preferably completed
or currently pursuing CMA/CPA/CGA designation
- Experience with
SAPand CRM
