HERE’S A TASTE OF WHAT YOU’LL BE DOING
- Direct
Business Partnering–Provide financial analysis and guidance on
profitability, ROI, pricing, promotional activities, innovation, costing
and trade spending for new products and initiatives. Utilize financial
expertise to guide decisions and ensure accuracy.
- Decision
Support –Evaluate alternative commercial scenarios and model the
impact on the P&L, gathering insights and making recommendations for
improvement.
- Marketing
Financial Analysis –You will be delivering success to the business
by providing insightful financial analysis and recommendations for
improvements in brand profitability. You will also be performing a
post-analysis on brand-consumer promotions and providing ideas for action
plans.
- Top
Line Growth –Our team is continually moving towards growth and you
will have accountability to support our goals. You will be identifying
risks, opportunities, and insights to help improve top-line, mix, and
profitability. You will also have a hunger for simplifying and automating
processes where possible.
- Key
Reporting –We will count on you to be detailed and precise while
supplying useful data that is not unclear. You will be delivering accurate
innovation and brand reporting to the Marketing team, senior leadership,
and corporate headquarters at month-end, forecast, and budget time.
YOUR RECIPE FOR SUCCESS
Required:
- Post-secondary
education, Business Degree in Accounting/Finance/Commerce
- 3+
Years experience in a Commercial/Marketing Finance position
- Advanced
proficiency in Microsoft Excel, using functions such as lookups, pivot
tables, filters, sorting
- Demonstrated
analytical and problem-solving skills
- In-depth
understanding of P&L structure
- Proven
experience providing financial insights and analysis to non-finance
stakeholders
- Results-oriented
and able to multitask efficiently and effectively
- Team
player and able to communicate with all levels of the organization.
- Effective
time management and results-oriented and ability to multi-task efficiently
and effectively
Bonus Points:
- University
degree in Accounting, Finance, Commerce, or related field
- MBA
and/or CMA/CPA/CGA designation (completed or currently pursuing)
- Experience
with SAP
- Experience
working with new product launches financials
- Good
understanding of Standard Costing
- Consumer
packaged goods industry experience
