Mississauga office. In this role you will be responsible for the overall
corporate tax compliance and administration in Canada. Furthermore, you
will improve operating control effectiveness and ensure existing controls are
adequate to safeguard assets, control the accuracy and reliability of internal
and external financial reporting, and comply with established company policies
and accounting standards. This role will also be involved in month-end
responsibilities, pension accounting, cash flow forecasting/reporting, and ad
hoc requests.

- Demonstrating
Leadership –Manage and coach a team of finance professionals
providing performance management, career development opportunities and
mentorship.
- Lead
Month End Close Reporting –Champion the Corporate Accountingmonth-end
process, ensuring financial statement accuracy and that company policies
and accounting standards are followed. Have you worked with SAP before?
Even better.
- Managing
Budgets– Manage the budgeting and forecasting process for Cash Flow
and Balance Sheet while liaising with key stakeholders to drive Cash Flow
YOUR RECIPE FOR SUCCESS
- University
Degree in Business and a CPA designation
- 5-10
years of proven accounting/finance experience with a primary focus in tax,
auditing, budgeting & forecasting, and financial analysis
- Proficient
in Microsoft Office: Advanced Excel, PowerPoint and Word
- In
depth exposure to US GAAP (Generally Accepted Accounting Principles)
- Time
management, results-oriented and able to multi-task efficiently and
effectively
- Strong
leadership, team player and communication skills
- Proven
capability to communicate and influence with all levels of organization
effectively
- Exceptional
analytical, strategic business thinking and problem-solving skills
