Job Description

As a Human Resource (HR) Business Partner(15-Month Contract)at Kellogg Canada Inc. (KCI) you will be the primary HR partner to several critical functions within the business, as well as the subject matter expert leading Learning & Development (L&D) and Equity, Diversity and Inclusion (ED&I) efforts at KCI. As HR Business Partner, this role will analyze business needs and provide support covering the full range of HR services including recruitment assistance, policy interpretation, engagement initiatives, total rewards, org design, performance management, and succession planning. As the lead for L&D and ED&I, this role will design and execute programs and initiatives to continue to drive our award-winning culture.

HERE’S A TASTE OF WHAT YOU’LL BE DOING

  • Trusted Advisor –As the primary HR partner, with a full understanding of the KCI business and strategic plans, you will partner with the Supply Chain, Communications & Corporate Affairs business functions on all HR services. We are looking to you to bring insights from business partners, exit interviews, talent data analysis, and the marketplace to help drive our business.
  • L&D Subject Matter Expert(SME) - As the L&D SME for KCI, you will set the local L&D strategy and identify, procure, and lead L&D programs. You will also work with the regional and Global Talent teams to design and roll out the Talent tools and processes in KCI. You will promote awareness and drive increased participation in KNA/Global initiatives, facilitate and lead New Manager Assimilations sessions, and HR topics at partner meetings.
  • ED&I SME -As the ED&I SME for Canada, you will identify best practices, develop and implement KCI-specific practices, policies, partnerships, and programs that are legislatively compliant, able to engage our employees, maintain a culture that is free from harassment and discrimination, and furthers our commitments to ED&I.

YOUR RECIPE FOR SUCCESS

Required:

  • University degree preferred.
  • Professional Association designation/certifications in Human Resources (e.g., CHRP, CHRL, Practitioner Member, CHRM) or equivalent is required.
  • Minimum 6 years progressive experience across HR functions with experience in an HRBP role.
  • Proficiency with MS Office Suite (Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint).
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to multitask whilst maintaining a high standard of quality work.
  • Strong people skills with the ability to interact effectively with employees at all levels.
  • HR – Steward of Service Standards, Customer Advocacy, Business Enabler, Culture & Change Steward, Effective & Strategic Partnerships, and Application of Technical Expertise in the areas of Generalist Experience.

Bonus Points:

  • Experience in the Consumer Packaged Goods industry.
  • Experience working with Human Resources Information Systems (HRIS).
  • Experience managing a budget.
