development and manage the elements required to grow our Alternative Channels
portfolio as the Account Manager. This role develops and negotiates full year
business plans that promote the exposure of our total portfolio of Kellogg
brands to the shopper at Longo’s, Giant Tiger, Dollar Tree and Bulk Barn.
To be successful in this role candidates must merge their business building
creativity along with their financial acumen to deliver revenue targets within
an allocated trade spending budget. This role will have you at the center of a
team of peers that will aid you in delivering the growth of the Kellogg
business with these customers as they provide their functional expertise across
areas like Supply Chain, Shopper Marketing and Category Management.

TASTE OF WHAT YOU’LL BE DOING
- Develop and execute Promotion, Shelving and New
product introductions -You will plan a full year promotional
plan for the Kellogg portfolio of brands to ensure premium exposure to the
shopper at this portfolio of customers.
- Conduct Business reviews -On
a monthly and quarterly basis you will analyze the business vs your plan
and year ago using Nielsen data and present insights and corrective plans
as required to both the customer and internally
- Budget Management -You
are responsible for investing the trade spend dollars to achieve brand
activations at the retailer and actively manage the accuracy and
efficiency of those investments.
- Account administration -You
will ensure that all necessary administration of promotion deal sheets,
listing forms, retail communication bulletins etc. are accurate and
- Strong communicator and energetic executor -As
the lead for these customers you will be the key person to communicate
insight from the retail environment to the Retail field team as well as
multi-functionally within the Kellogg head office to optimize the
development of the Kellogg business vs our competition
education or work experience equivalent – Business/Economics degree
2-3 years of selling experience – Retail packaged goods preferred
working knowledge of MS office applications (focus on Excel and
communication and interpersonal skills combined with strong analytical and
