Employment Posting - Business Development Manager: VANCOUVER


Impact Sales and Marketing Inc. is a Canadian owned sales organization specializing within the Consumer Packaged Goods Industry. Reporting to the Vice President, the Business Development Manager plays a very integral role within our organization. The Business Development manager will be responsible for managing our expanding business within our Western Canadian account base. This role is home based preferably in Vancouver.

Responsibilities Include:

Taking a lead role in the management and growth of the accounts within the Western Canadian region

Preparation and execution of business plans

Responsibility to build and achieve short, mid & long-term strategic plans while meeting certain targets & objectives

Identifying and presenting new opportunities to secure results

Provide and communicate accurate sales forecasts

Preparation and presentation of key account business reviews to all levels of account management

Ownership of the business everyday

Qualifications:

A University Degree in a relevant discipline or equivalent relevant experience is required.

Ideally3-5 years of Account Management experience in a CPG environment is required.

Extensive analytical skills, strong communication & presentation skills.

Strong technical skills: SAP, Cognos, MS Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word and Access)and ability to quickly learn other customer specific proprietary systems.

Results and performance driven with bias for action & sense of urgency on priorities.

Strong interpersonal, interdependent partnering skills, collaboration competencies within and across organizations. Demonstrated ability to cultivate strong business relationships.

Big picture thinking: looking for areas of improvement to create growth and joint value for our customer

Proven leadership, analytical and strategic thinking abilities are essential.

OTC category experience is a definite asset
