We are currently seeking candidates to fill the role of the Business Development Manager in our Marketing department located in Markham, Ontario.

Responsibilities of the position include:

  • Develop and execute strategic growth plans for key customers
  • Working closely with Marketing to ensure that Category Strategies include the development of products and programs that allow us to realize these growth strategies
  • Analyze business and market conditions and provide Sales and strategic customers with actionable recommendations on product assortment, merchandising and planogramming
  • Act as an advocate for the customer internally, and as a category expert in front of the customer
  • Major focus will be the development in product and brand management, and Omni channel strategies in order to maximize sales.

The basic qualifications of the position include:

  • 5-10 Years’ experience in Sales or Marketing
  • Bachelor’s degree in related field.
  • Strategic thinking, advanced analytical skills, and attention to detail.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills.
  • Strong leadership skills – ability to influence and work effectively with people from diverse functional backgrounds
  • Advanced computer skills in PowerPoint, Excel and Word
  • Ability to multi-task, strong organizational skills
  • Strong time management and organizational skills
  • Team-oriented approach
  • Must possess a “roll up the sleeves” attitude, be a self-starter and be driven to “make things happen”
