The National Sales Coordinator is responsible for ensuring the execution of supporting functions to the VP of Sales and the sales team.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

Trade Marketing:

  • Manage distribution and tracking of trade POS through retail execution partners
  • Update key stakeholders on overall usage and effectiveness of POS
  • Provide supporting collateral for the promotions
  • Follows up with key stakeholders (brokers, distributors, sales team) for updated on retail pricing and promotional activity when required

Reporting & Presentation Preparation:

  • Compilation of Trax and distributor reports in to a cohesive singular report(s)
  • Preparation / Updating of PowerPoint presentations VP of Sales and Business Development managers when approved
  • Product and Item Ranking (in house or with a specific customer/distributor)
  • Preparation and distribution of monthly Commissions Reports
  • Preparation and distribution of monthly Sales Reports and trackers
  • Preparation and distribution of sales updates and associated reports and trackers

Trade Shows:

  • Manage all aspects of trade shows that the organization participates in annually
  • Submit Exhibitor Application & book booth space
  • Request and administer name badges, work show booth (when possible)
  • Submit and book necessary forms for New Product Showcase, Cold Storage, Electrical Services, Food Sampling (city specific), Certificate of Insurance
  • Send Move In & Move Out dates/times, procedures and information to HP Warehouse Manager to coordinate logistics with transport carriers.
  • Build skid with supplies (cooler, sample product, display booth, table, cleaning supplies, promotional materials, etc.) at HP warehouse
  • Coordinate and lead show set up / tear down info and instruction
  • Act as on-site show contact when necessary

Sales Administration:

  • Provides general sales administration including, but not limited to, preparation of presentations, generation of sales reports, updating of price lists and price adjustment forms, and writing of notices, letters and other correspondence
  • Sets up new sales related customer accounts and submits forms to IT/Accounting
  • Coordinates samples shipments and prior notices when required
  • Liaises with brokers and sales reps to handle any inquiries from the field
  • Product registration lead and coordination
  • Cooler program lead and coordination
  • Management and organization of shared data/reference material on Sales drive
  • Organization and maintenance of sales storage areas
  • Carries out other related duties as required

Account Management:

  • Provides administration and support to business development team on deal sheets, listing forms, price change forms and other account administration
  • Export customer support and administration for customer set up, order follow up, export documentation and general inquires with guidance from VP
  • Manage national demo program and budget; provide quarterly updates on budget to VP and Sales Team

VP Support

  • Monthly administration and support of expense reports, attendance tracker and vacation requests
  • Maintenance of database of key contacts
  • Back up for general inquiries in absence of VP

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Education: Degree or Diploma in Business
  • Experience: At least 4 years in a sales coordination role, preferably in food or retail.
  • Excellent computer skills, especially Excel and PowerPoint
  • Excellent ability to build relationships
  • Strong Initiative and multi-tasking ability
  • Excellent troubleshooting skills
  • Highly organized and strong attention to detail
  • Ability to work alone and in groups
  • Thrive in a fast paced, high energy environment and team
