Food Service Marketing

We’re looking for a food service guru – senior, experienced, marketing / go-to-market expert who can lead the development and commercialization of a key innovation project. You know the food service landscape – the customers, the channels and the end-users. You blend marketing strategy with technical selling know-how. This is a 3 month contract assignment.

What’s the Role?

  • Develop the project plan, product portfolio and launch strategy to achieve the project objectives leveraging data and your food service experience
  • Lead project management for product initiatives, including cross-functional leadership
  • Partner with sales to develop the go to market strategy, selling materials and technical selling tools
  • Manage brand P&Ls to deliver topline and profit target

What do you need?

  • 7+ years of CPG marketing and go-to-market experience
  • 5+ years of food service experience
  • An undergraduate degree in business. An MBA is an asset
  • Breadth of work experience across both large and small top tier strategic marketing companies
  • Enjoy working in smaller nimble teams and value the camaraderie that comes with a smaller family-feel organization
  • Driven by the values of purpose, sustainability and wellness
  • Strong sense of urgency and a drive for results
  • Thrive on finding creative solutions to challenges
  • Proven ability to collaborate with cross-functional partners and teams
  • Ability to prioritize and react to new learning and changing situations
  • Strong project management skills

  • Demonstrated experience developing and launching innovation
  • Strong financial and analytical skills
