As Senior Media Specialist, you will support the Marketing and Media team in the media planning, buying, and campaign development process. Manages all executional aspects of the media management processes including campaign development, executional setup, audience datausage and targeting, delivery, reporting, optimization and analysis. Leads the design and delivery of campaign performance updates, optimization solutions and new media opportunities to key internal and external partners. You will report to the Director of Media Services.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Partners closely with the media team to develop cross-channel mediaprograms.​
  • Manages all executional aspects of the campaign development and executional management processes – strategy development, partner selection, tactical development, tagging recommendations, audience data andtargeting recommendations, setup, delivery management (pacing, budget, spend), troubleshooting, analysis andreporting​
  • Designs measurement and learning plans against business objectives. Manages project timeline, deliverables, and budget, as assigned and with input fromManager.​
  • Manages campaign pacing and delivery of viewable, humanimpressions.​
  • Prepares and reviews all campaign reports. Works with media team and agency partners for prompt delivery of reports to key stakeholders and ensures accurate/useful performance and optimization updates. Presentsfindings to keystakeholders.​
  • Identifies media technology partners required for delivering media executional excellence. Including but not limitedto:ad verification partners, programmatic solutions, and 3rd party data providers. Develops scorecard forpartner assessment and works closely with media and cross-functional team members to select and awardbusiness.​
  • Manages audience anddata-basedtargeting strategies, tactics and execution to ensure continuous learning andimprovement.​
  • Maintains a curious and deep understanding of the media landscape, including new offerings and innovations within digital, traditional, and programmatic channels. Work to identify how, when, where those mediaopportunities can be applied to support businessneeds.​
  • Applies relevant industry and channel trends to category, brand, and marketing strategies. Keeps close eye to competitive media landscape and shares intelligence and recommendations relevant tobusiness.​
  • Maintains a keen eye towards fiscal responsibility, monitoring media budgets, pricing and cost effectiveness closely.​

Job Qualifications:

  • Bachelors degree
  • 3-5 years of media experience within an agency, client or publisherenvironment.​
  • Strong knowledge of media math, media planning/buying practices, media systems and tools (ie. ad servers, attribution, tagging, ad verification – prefer knowledge of Nielsen, comScore,MediaTools.)​
  • Strong knowledge of audience data targeting methodologies and programmaticsolutions​
  • Strong knowledge of media measurement tools and optimizationmethodologies.​
  • Strong oral and written communication skills, particularly the ability to explain new or difficult concepts in simple, applicable business terms to a variety of team members and experiencelevels.​
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills. Experience in presenting information to cross-functional teammembers.​
  • Exhibits skills of a team player that thrives on working collaboratively with cross-functional partners and stakeholders in a matrixedenvironment.​
  • Strong analytical, problem solving and critical thinking skills. Strong timeline and project managementskills.​
  • Ability to multi-task, prioritize, and balance time across brands, multiple partner relationships and internal initiativeson a daily basiswhile maintaining a profound attention todetail​
  • Experience in media buying negotiation, budget management, optimization, and performancemonitoring.
