Job Summary
Responsible for driving trade
investment effectiveness and understanding customer P&L’s, through superior
financial insight and partnership with Sales. Sales Finance coordinator
for Sales Operation and Trade Operations functions in SAP. Financial lead
for Private Label(PL) and Food Service(FS) business. Prepare Sales
Finance month-end journal entries and other Ad Hoc requests.
Position Responsibilities
- Provide data analysis and
financial insight to PL and FS sales teams. Help business make
profitable decisions and maximize GM% and overall growth of the business.
- Exemplify forecasting accuracy
when inputting monthly/quarterly forecasts.
- Perform monthly financial reviews
with PL and FS teams (actual results vs plan and prior year). Take a
proactive role in understanding key financial components in the P&L
and be able to explain key drivers for material changes in the financial
result and by brand mix.
- Ensure an effective and timely
month-end close by preparing appropriately supported journal entries.
- Lead and manage Sales Ops and
Trade Ops functions in SAP including updating customer and sales
hierarchy, assigning access and roles to Trade applications, updating
KPI’s for the Sales team.
- Develop relationships with
cross-functional partners and key central services groups
- Complete special projects and Ad
hoc requests as required
Position Qualifications
- Minimum 3-5 years of financial
analysis experience. Experience in the consumer packaged goods
industry is preferred.
- Previous experience in Sales/Trade
Finance or Financial Planning and Analysis (FP&A).
- University degree in
business/accounting,
- Accounting designation preferred
(e.g. CPA) or close to completion
- Strong business communication,
partnering, and interpersonal skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel
(i.e. Pivot Tables, Formulas, Modelling)
- Familiarity with SAP
- Demonstrated ability to
communicate and influence at all levels across the organization.
- Demonstrated ability to manage
multiple projects & work independently
