a leading Canadian company in the Importation, Distribution and Marketing of
Best-in-Class Brands, is looking to hire a Senior Brand Manager on a
full-time, permanent basis.
Reporting
to the Managing Director, European Brands, the Senior Brand Manager will take
their passion for brand building to the next level by building a deep
understanding of their customer, developing effective strategies and plans to
drive their business forward, and by owning all aspects of the marketing mix.

Responsibilities
- Develops, leads and executes strategic marketing
plans to deliver against annual brand targets.

Owns the development and management of brand
P&L.

Monitors progress and provides proactive
recommendations to course correct if off-track.

Develops disruptive creative campaigns to be
executed across multiple touch points including traditional, digital, social,
and in-store.

Ensures smooth operation of the day-to-day
functions of the brand, including ROI measurement, budget management, vendor
invoicing, custom item development, and SKU portfolio management.

Manages agency partnerships to ensure all work is
on-strategy, on-budget, and on-time.

Supports sales materials development, category
selling stories, and presentations.

Provides strategic input to the overall short and
long-term new product development agenda.

Leads cross-functional brand teams to prioritize
projects and resources to deliver against brand goals.

Maintains in-depth understanding of the consumer,
category, competition, and trends and transforms into insights and
opportunities to grow the brand.

Oversees the efficient utilization of trade budget
to achieve brand/company goals in growth in sales and market share, including
promotional deals, POS, swag, trade show materials, branded assets at retail
locations and retail activation programs.

Oversees preparation and delivers presentations for
Sales and retailer meetings, as well as regional and strategy meetings on an
as-needed basis.

Provides guidance on forecasting for innovations
and promotional programs working in close collaboration with Sales Operations,
Brand Management and Procurement

Requirements
- Post Secondary Degree/ Diploma (Business, Finance,
Marketing, or related).

5+ year of marketing experience; consumer packaged
goods experience within the food industry ideal.

Proven track record in CPG Consumer Marketing,
where targets were met or exceeded.

In depth knowledge of CPG and Grocery Retail
industry.

Strong business and financial acumen, strategic
thinking, tactical execution and analytical skills.

Comprehensive technical skills that include being
proficient in Microsoft Office.

Experience with syndicated data (i.e., Nielsen or
IRI) and category management.

Proficiency with retail POS data platforms such as
IRI, Precima, and Retail Link.
