National Account Manager – Walmart, Costco, McKesson (Remote)
Our
client, a leading Over-the-counter (OTC) and Health & Beauty (HABA)
Distributor, located in North York, ON, is looking to hire a National Account
Manager to join their team on a permanent, full-time basis.
This
is a remote position with occasional in-person meetings at the office as
required.
Reporting
to the President, the National Account Manager will lead and execute strategic
account plans for Walmart, Costco and McKesson within a dynamic OTC and HABA
portfolio. The NAM will also lead joint business planning, promotional
execution, and contribute to profitable, long-term partnerships that support
the company's growth objectives.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Develop, sustain, and expand strategic
relationships with Walmart, Costco and McKesson to drive long-term business
growth
- Prepare and deliver comprehensive sales and
marketing presentations, ensuring alignment with customer expectations and
market trends
- Identify and pursue new business
opportunities, driving profitable sales growth across the portfolio
- Negotiate price and volume commitments,
securing favorable agreements that support customer and company objectives
- Analyze market and business trends, providing
actionable insights and recommendations to enhance sales strategies and
maximize revenue
- Lead the development of accurate customer
forecasts, budgets, and annual sales targets
- Consistently deliver results in alignment
with annual revenue and profitability goals
- Effectively manage trade marketing budgets to
optimize promotional effectiveness and return on investment
- Conduct regular store audits and competitive
surveys, monitoring retailer execution, market presence, and distribution
performance
- Build strong partnerships with Category
Managers and Merchants, ensuring execution of joint business plans and
achievement of annual objectives
EDUCATION:
- Post secondary education in Business
Administration, or a related field.
REQUIREMENTS:
- 5+ years of national account management
experience in the Consumer Goods industry with a strong knowledge of the
Canadian retailer landscape
- Experience calling on Walmart, Costco, and/or
McKesson ideal
- Knowledge and network with OTC, HABA, and
Healthcare an asset
- Leadership
experience and ability to develop and mentor team members an asset
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications
