THE OPPORTUNITY
As the Patio
Supervisor, you will be working with the Food & Wine Manager to build and
lead a team in delivering exceptional food and wine experiences that increase
brand loyalty while driving sustainable profitability for our seasonal Patio
Restaurant and events. Reporting directly to the Food & Wine Manager, you
will work in partnership ensuring programs and initiatives are aligned with
winery estate strategy.
Responsibilities:
EXECUTE FOOD &
WINE EXPERIENCES
- Lead your service team in
the execution of seasonal Patio Lunch service daily, private dinners and
public winery events alongside our Food & Wine Manager
- Work with Winery Chef and
Sous Chef to ensure smooth execution of service, create and maintain
excellent communication and positive working environment
STAFF MANAGEMENT
- Develop a fun, motivated and
positive work environment
- Maintain and enhance a
strong “wine culture” and quality image
- Execute training plans
alongside Food & Wine Manager for all food and wine service staff to
deliver consistent, exceptional guest dining experiences
- Work alongside service staff
and provide leadership to the team
ADMINISTRATION
MANAGEMENT
- Lead management of daily
reservations procedures
- Assist with accounting for
all onsite food & wine sales, inventory and purchases

JOB REQUIREMENTS
- Must possess a passion for
people and the food and wine industry
- 1-3 Years Previous
restaurant and/or food service experience
- Preference for winery
restaurant experience or fine dining
- Related training and/or
College/University education an asset
- WSET Certification an asset
- Ability to support and
encourage co-workers through training
- Demonstrated ability to work
in high pressure situations
- Moderate to good
understanding of business and accounting practices/inventory/cost controls
- Computer knowledge of WORD,
Excel and Outlook Calendar Management an asset
- Ability to learn, use and
teach Point of Sale programs effectively
- Excellent organizational,
time management, interpersonal & communications skills
- While is not a Full-Time
year-round position, for the right candidate, it is an excellent stepping
