Job Description

Mission of the Role

The role of the Revenue Management Analyst is to support the Director of Revenue Management and Revenue Management Channel Leads with analysing large data sets, tracking performance & maintaining the accuracy of our price & promo tools.

Scope of the Role

  • Support price & promo strategy work through scenario analysis to maximize growth and profitability. 20%
  • Pull and analyse data to identify trends in data & develop scenarios to tests/simulations to identify potential activities for opportunity.10%
  • Review with Director Rev Mgmt. while Channel lead will be consulted in building the strategy. 10%
  • Monthly tracking of price and promo changes along with performance tracking for AWC and competition by providing insight into to-date achievements. 25%
  • Support and maintenance of our Price & promo tools. 10%
  • Track record for demonstrating initiative and decision-making capabilities. 15%
  • Support ad hoc analytic requests that support price & promo strategies or tactics as required. 10%

  • Director of Revenue Management

Core Job Responsibilities & Duties

  • Analyse and develop pricing strategy while optimizing promo to grow a healthy and sustainable Net Revenue
  • Monthly tracking of price and promo changes along with performance tracking for AWC and competition by providing insight into to-date achievements
  • Provide tool support and administration to ensure that tools operate correctly. 15%
  • Actively participate & present relevant findings in monthly department meeting
  • Track record for demonstrating initiative and decision-making capabilities
  • Ability to create advanced spreadsheets, explain variances, identify business risks and opportunities, and make appropriate recommendations
  • Trade Market visits to different Channels with Sales team to get first-hand knowledge of all revenue management issues and other key areas.
  • Any other reasonable requests

  • Good analytical and numeric skills for fast data crunching.
  • Ability to work under own initiative
  • Good listening skills and the ability to anticipate business needs.
  • Able to develop relationships with other functions.
  • Capacity to read situation, understand analytics and respond accordingly
  • Capable of prioritizing between revenue generating actions and time-consuming tasks with low yield impact.
  • Ability to work across all levels and functions of AWC portfolio.
  • Well-developed interpersonal, adaptive influencing skills
  • Willingness to travel and ability to interact professionally with other functions
  • Ability to identify root cause of issues and develop plans to resolve
  • Strong oral and written communication skills
  • High level of motivation, determination and commitment.

Experience & Qualifications

  • 2 - 4 years of hands-on Revenue Management or Financial analysis experience.
  • A strong command of both written and spoken English is required; French is an asset.
  • Bachelors or master’s Degree in Business Administration or Finance.
  • Highly computer literate with a high-level command of Excel.
