Arterra is seeking a Product Owner to help be the voice of the consumer and connect our digital experiences to business objectives as we progress on our journey to grow our B2B and Direct-to-Consumer channels and enhance our customer experiences.

Our ideal candidate will have 2+ years of experience in Digital Product Ownership. They must have a customer-first mindset, a strong understanding of user experience design, and the ability to execute on digital initiatives for the company’s front-end web and mobile applications. This role requires a candidate with excellent analytical, organizational, and communication skills as you'll be working with a team to interpret data and find compromises between user experience, technical constraints, and compliance realities. This is a customer-centric role, working to translate the needs of the customer into online business opportunities. As the Product Owner, the candidate will be an integral part of the Digital & Ecommerce Team, charged with the growth of B2B and non-transactional sites for Arterra.

Key Responsibilities

  • Leads the execution of initiatives on the product roadmap for a subset of digital products and channels. Supports requirements discovery, solution design, user story writing, feature development, and user acceptance testing.
  • Partner with business stakeholders (Digital & Ecommerce, Marketing, Operations, Sales, etc.) to identify key capabilities required, as well as identifying potential issues. Partner with cross functional teams regularly to ensure alignment on feature development and prioritization
  • Partner with IT to execute initiatives the roadmap and backlog to ensure that IT delivers all capabilities on time and per expectation. Align on best practices.
  • Monitor and evaluate channel performance to ensure constant product iteration and improvements. Work with the Digital Analytics Manager to define KPIs and dashboards to monitor and report channel health.

What you bring:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Business, Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field
  • 2+ years of experience in digital product ownership or similar
  • Track record of applying analytical, prioritization, and negotiating skills
  • Usability and customer-focused design experience
  • Experience owning roadmap and helping to shape this by working closely with various stakeholders
  • Experience with change management
  • Experience working in a complex regulatory environment
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills
  • Proven problem-solving skills
  • Results oriented, self-motivated, driven and disciplined
