Job Description

Job Summary

The Portfolio Manager will develop and lead performance measures, analytics and data visualizations to generate evidence and business insights to enable operational efficiency, optimal decision-making and targeted communications to stakeholders.

Key Responsibility

  • Monitor and evaluate the ongoing results associated with the portfolio performance including volume, distribution trends and other data, to understand and effectively communicate brand performance and assess the impact of specific tactical plans and decisions on the brand while recognizing and recommending adjustments to specific activities that are not driving the desired outcomes. Leading portfolio growth strategies across channels and working with the Brand team to optimize portfolio performance
  • Define and implement strategies, operating models, processes and tracking systems for portfolio performance, budget, resources and inter-project/system/process interfaces.
  • Define key performance indicators and provide business insights and analytics to enable operational efficiency and optimal decision-making.
  • Provide strategic insight to the National Brand Marketing teams regarding opportunities in Quebec and as a centralized point of contact between the Quebec sales team and the National Marketing teams
  • Marketing conduit to the Sales and Operational Planning process for the Quebec.

Education, experience, qualifications

  • University Degree, preferably in Business/Marketing/Brand Management (Analytics, research, math)
  • 3 to 5 years of experience in portfolio management, project performance analytics, financial analysis and process analytics, preferably within CPG
  • Consumer analytics experience, e.g. category management
  • Experience leading cross-functional teams
  • Understanding of P&L, Balance Sheet, etc.
  • Fluently bilingual
  • Strong communication skills
