Job Description

The Partnerships Manager is responsible for building a partnerships program across the Arterra brand portfolio that will support the business objectives for the organization. You will open doors with existing and new partners, lead exploratory discussions with them, evaluate opportunities, develop and negotiate contractual agreements and present recommendations to the Brand Communications Director.

The successful candidate will work cross-functionally to create GTM plans and communication tools across Arterra’s brand platforms with the goal of creating a strong and seamless connection between our clients and brand partner initiatives. This person will be responsible to cultivate and nurture positive relationships both internally and externally, and have a vision for how to use partnerships to evolve Arterra through dynamic, brand-focused messaging that also supports business needs. Your knowledge of relevant verticals and industry players will help shape our retail opportunities and support growth in existing and new areas.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop deep understanding of Arterra’s wine products and strategy.
  • Collaborate with Marketing and Customer Solutions teams to identify critical partnership opportunities with the potential to grow Arterra’s share of voice across regions and verticals
  • Develop and negotiate strategic agreements for the company with a variety of partner types and across various forms of advertising.
  • Present recommendations to the management team including cross-functional stakeholders.
  • Launch and implement new partnerships that are set up for continued success through interaction with critical cross-functional stakeholders.
  • Maintain and report weekly sales/prospecting activity
  • Prepare and presenting concise, dynamic proposals to individuals and large groups, as needed
  • Perform other duties as assigned

Key Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Communications, Business Administration, or a related field. Experience in Lifestyle, CPG, Publishing environments is an asset
  • 3-5+ years of experience in strategy, product, or business development role in a customer-centric environment;
  • Problem solver who can synthesize the complex and focus on the essential
  • Outstanding influencer who can interact with people of all different levels and backgrounds in a team environment
  • Strong verbal, written and presentation skills
  • Strong work ethic and ability to thrive in a deadline-driven environment
  • Eternal optimist with a relentless drive for impact
