We are currently recruiting for an
individual to manage analytical and reporting processes for the FP&A
function to provide reporting, analytics and insights into the financial
aspects of the business to influence business decision making. Provide
analytical support for consolidated financial plans, forecasts and actual
results to ensure accuracy and clarity of key business drivers, with
accountability for planning and analyzing specific costs and supporting all
business functions in the development of their plans and forecasts including
key financial metric assessments and the company financial scorecard.
What you will be doing:
- Create and update monthly reporting
packages to SLT & BOD, collecting business analysis and insights from
Regions / Business owners. Identify risks and opportunities based on
actuals and forecasts and verify/challenge Regions, local Finance
Directors and Business Leaders to ensure understanding and accurate
reporting of key business drivers.
- Lead development, co-ordination
and consolidation of monthly forecasting and Annual Operating Plan (AOP)
processes. Challenge business owners against key drivers including cause
of change analysis and business KPI’s. Deliver internal reporting
requirements for analysis and consolidation of AOP and monthly forecasts
for approval by SLT and BOD.
- Analyze Corporate SG&A spend+
and lead the reconciliation, forecasting and planning for “End State”
costs according to debt and shareholder arrangements. Lead regular
meetings with Senior Corporate SG&A business owners (SLT level) to
achieve accurate forecasting and planning processes and challenge spending
to ensure budget compliance and spend efficiency / value creation
recommendations.
- Support financial components of
the annual Canada Value Creation Plan / Strategic Plan including
financial modeling. Support VP of Strategy and Senior Leadership Team on
presentation and approval by the BOD.
- Motivate, lead and develop one
direct report on operational responsibilities and provide mentoring and
guidance including skill and career development, setting of expectations
and communication of performance results.
What you bring:
- University Degree
- 6-8 years’ experience in
progressive Finance roles
- MBA or CPA designation
