Job Description

This role executes policies and programs associated with recruitment and onboarding of new employees. The role is responsible for managing aspects of the sourcing, screening and hiring processes for corporate, and hourly/seasonal recruiting and onboarding processes as required

Key Responsibilities:

  • Work with People Strategy Business Partners and Hiring Managers to align on a sourcing strategy for vacant roles. Execute the end to end recruitment and onboarding process for assigned positions. Facilitate employment recommendations based on information obtained through behavioural interviewing, reference checks and other background checks.
  • Support the development of a pipeline of internal/external talent for future needs and ensure regular communication takes place with this community aligned to our Employee Value Proposition. Support the creation of opportunity postings on both internal and external job boards and networking sites to meet talent needs in various markets. Conduct job fairs, campus recruitment, intern/co-op recruitment or participate in other networking or sourcing events.
  • Maintains accurate and up to date documentation of recruitment and onboarding training materials, jobaids and metrics reporting.
  • Supports the execution and maintenance for Talent Attraction & Onboarding policies and programs i.e.: employee referral program, candidate travel process/policy, background screening etc.

    Qualifications:

    • 1-2 years experience in a Human Resources role and Experience with behavioural based interviewing
    • Bachelor’s degree in Business and/or Certificate in Human Resources.
    • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
    • Demonstrated ability to manage multiple initiatives and competing priorities
    • Strong time management and organization skills
    • Strong interpersonal skills
