Reporting to the Food Service Senior, National Sales Director, the position of Ontario Sales Manager, Food Service is primarily responsible to lead and develop the Lassonde Foodservice sales strategy in Ontario. This role will lead the Ontario sales team to grow distributors, independent customers, commercial and non-commercial accounts in branded and private labels for juice and food. This role could also be responsible for large customers and not limited to.

Key Activities:

  • Build, train, develop & support the Ontario sales team.
  • Deliver company sales budget.
  • Ensure team meets company KPI’s.
  • Increase the list of Foodservice customers.
  • Support the sales teams in field & during trade shows.
  • Lead monthly team meetings and attend quarterly business reviews with direct reports.
  • Provide guidance on contract renewals & new account negotiations.
  • Support Senior, National Sales director to deliver agreed upon strategic priorities.
  • Communicate regions needs and challenges with potential solutions.
  • Build relationships with internal stakeholders.

Education and experience required:

  • 5 years of experience in similar position.
  • BAC of Commerce (Business/Marketing or Finance) or similar education.
  • Excellent knowledge of the food industry (distributors, regional and national chains pertaining to health care segment and/or nutrition).


  • Good computer skills (MS Office, P.P., Excel, Windows).
  • Very self-sufficient and motivated.
  • Effective communicator.
  • Results oriented.
  • Client oriented and focused.

Specifics of the position:

  • Travel is required in this position to effectively manage the territory.
