Loblaw Companies Limited has appointed Per Bank as president and CEO. He will join the company by the first quarter of 2024. He succeeds Galen Weston who will remain as chair of the Board of Directors of Loblaw. The change was made in anticipation of the retirement of Robert Sawyer, chief operating officer, who plans to retire at the end of 2023.
