I have written here before about the Dollar Store channel and what I think is a channel poised for considerable growth in the coming years.

This has been reinforced by the recent IPOs from Canada's Dollarama and Dollar General in the US.

This G&M article below makes me think what suppliers in the five categories identified are doing to make sure they have a sustainable business inside the dollar store channel.
