How we started
Dyson Canada was launched in 2006 with ten employees and two
vacuum models, and secured the no. 1 market share within two months of
launching. The Professional business was launched in 2009 with Airblade.
Where we are now
Since then, we expanded to over 100 people in Canada coast
to coast, and sell products in the floorcare, environmental, and professional
categories. Our floorcare line-up currently includes canister, upright and
cordless machines, with the robot vacuum coming to Canada soon. In the
environmental category we currently sell ceramic fans and heaters, and will
soon be launching humidifiers and air purifiers. Our Professional products
include Airblade dB, Airblade V and Airblade Tap hand-dryers. Our machines are
showcased in the Montréal Museum of Art and the Vancouver Science World.
Future plans
Dyson Canada has been growing substantially ever since we
entered the market, and we are continuing that trend in 2015 and beyond with
ambitious future plans. Aside from growing our cordless footprint and expanding
the number of products our digital motor and air multiplier technologies can
power, we plan to expand into exciting new categories in the coming years.
