Job Description

Sabra is looking for a Sales & Category Management Analyst to lead the Sales & Operating Plan process and provide tactical support for the Canadian Team. As part of a broader Sales Team, the ideal person will develop the necessary tools to analyze and measure Key Performance Indicators.

Dip into This Role

  • Analyze category data and formulate insights
  • Help create the annual operating plan by customer by region
  • Work with Demand Planning to forecast regional volume by customer
  • Manage the forecast MEI through monthly planning sessions
  • Assist in developing Assortment, Merchandising, Pricing, and Shelving (AMPS) goals and scorecard Nationally for Canada and customers specifically.
  • Use the AMPS model to define/predict growth and identify deficits in AMPS achievements with broker and sales partners to support gap closing initiatives
  • Create/analyze promotions and return on investment (ROI) measures to report on trade spend
  • Aid in the management and analysis of trade spend and deductions by working with finance, accounting, broker partners and sales to ensure the team stays within budget
  • Present and scorecard monthly business reviews by customer to internal stakeholders/executives
  • Utilizes customer databases and Nielsen to make recommendations, post-promo analysis support and Scorecards
  • Create and maintain monthly MEI KPI scorecards

Recipe for Success

  • University Degree required (or equivalent)
  • Minimum 5 years CPG experience, including 2 years analytical experience
  • Independent thought-leader; self-motivated and self-directed work style; ability to work with a diverse team
  • Ability to thrive in a high paced work environment, pay close attention to detail and meet business-driven deadlines
  • Advanced Microsoft Office Skills a must
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Proficient in Nielsen and customer databases (example Precima, Retail link)
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
