Senior Manager, Canadian Biscuits Supply Planning


The Senior Manager, Canadian Biscuits Supply Planning is responsible for the management of the Canadian Product Supply Strategy. The role will develop the strategic inventory plan and establish governance associated to executing the inventory plan targets. The role will work with NA Network Production Planners to ensure that Canadian interests are balanced across the NA/Mexico manufacturing plans. This must be accomplished while making appropriate trade-offs between manufacturing capacity and capability constraints, distribution/transportation strategies, plant productivity, financial inventory limits, potential waste risk, external manufacturing alternatives, etc. The position is also responsible for development plans and actions leading to DBNR improvement, Boundary Compliance and Waste reduction on Canadian SKUs.

The role must have strong leadership capability and will be the primary Product Supply point of contact for Canadian SKUs to cross-functional business teams including Marketing, Sales Planning, CBT?s, Finance, Operations and CS&L. This position reports to the Director of Biscuit Supply Planning.

Responsibilities include:


? Canadian Business Lead to facilitate cross-functional teamwork that delivers sustainable improvement in customer service, cash flow, and waste.
? Develop and deliver annual service, waste, inventory objectives and key performance indicators. Lead improvement programs as necessary to create CFR and inventory reduction sustainability.
? Maintain strong linkage with and influence NA Network Production Planners to drive long-term capacity decisions to support continued volume growth. Engage with NA Product Supply Leads to optimize cross-border ways of working. Represent Supply Planning as key point person for Canadian initiatives.
? Single point of contact for Canadian product families at the Supply Review as part of the Integrated Business Planning (IBP) process.
? Represent Product Supply for Canadian new product introductions.
? Engage CS&L and Sales organization to proactively mitigate CFR risks and opportunities; develop cross functional execution strategies to maximize revenue and service if experiencing supply challenges.
? Manage Canadian Network Fulfillment Planning staff.


Qualifications
Qualifications:

? BS/BA required, preferably in Supply Chain, Logistics or Operations Management, Business Administration or equivalent.
? Successful candidate will have a minimum of 7-10 years of business experience in Supply Chain including, but not limited to, production and fulfillment planning, distribution operations and/or demand planning. Experience in management of direct reports is required.
? Must have highly developed analytical skills. Strong working knowledge of SAP, JDA applications and Windows applications is a plus.
? Ability to establish solid relationships with internal cross-functional partners.
? Should have strong understanding of finished goods inventory and manufacturing capacity management.
? Excellent written and oral communication skills are mandatory, with high comfort level in regularly dealing with senior region leadership.
? Some travel will be required (up to 15%).
