Job Description

Under the direction of the Business Unit Manager or Leader, this position is responsible for the day-to-day manufacturing operations in assigned department, maintaining cost, quality, safety and sanitation.

Main Responsibilities:


1- Manages daily operations and identifies the need for, arranges for and coordinates maintenance repair, replacement or upgrades.
2- Directs personnel and activities to achieve consistent, highest quality products at the lowest possible cost.
3- Maintains hourly union payroll in SAP.
4- Insure compliance with safe operating procedures by personnel.
5- Insures compliance with GMP?s and all regulatory requirements.
6- Maintains good labor relations and resolves all verbal grievances and other labor related issues in a timely manner.
7- Actively participates and supports all safety initiatives within the manufacturing location.



Qualifications
Qualifications:
  1. BA/BS Degree in operations management, business or a related field preferred.
  2. min 1year supervisory or leadership experience.
