Under the direction of the Supervisor, Shift Leader, Team Captain, , the Enrober Operator is responsible for setting up and running the enrober such that the cookies are coated according to quality standards and specifications.
Responsibilities & Accountabilities
? Operate Enrober to coat specialized products
? Make adjustments to ensure product meet standards
? Complete paperwork, including charts
? Physically capable of lifting up to 20 kg.
? Must be a strong performer who demonstrates reliability, good attendance record and attention to Safety & GMP?s
? Ability to communicate in English is required
? Flexible to work any shift.
? Ability to work in teams ? actively listens, supports team members & positively contributes to a healthy and safe work environment
? Promote good housekeeping and manufacturing practices (setting an example for other employees within the plant) and ensure personnel on the line /area practice good housekeeping and keep their work areas clean
? Demonstrates personal and professional integrity
? Promote and practice safety first philosophy and accident prevention among Dad?s team
? Maintain personal hygiene; Clean uniforms, hair and beard nets are mandatory for GMP
? Ability to follow basic safety on the line/area; including wearing proper PPE
? Demonstrates attention to safety and GMPs; Demonstrates LOTO protocol when necessary
? Work in a safe and competent manner, following rules and procedures as required and as outlined in our Health & Safety guidelines
? Awareness of what a quality/in-spec dough/crème/mallow mix looks like
? Understand allergens and how to handle
? Understand kosher and how to handle
? Good knowledge of HACCP and WHMIS
? Work with and support new product trials
? Work with and support line/equipment improvements to meet ergonomics, productivity, health and safety initiatives
? As assigned by leadership team
? Able to accurately follow a DPS, complete paperwork, including charts
? Comfortable use computers and digital controllers
? Physically capable of lifting up to 20 kg
? Understands how the enrober works and all the different settings and how they affect the end product
? Must be able to identify and troubleshoot issues and communicate these issues accurately to the Maintenance team for prompt repair or preventing a breakdown
? Puts aside their personal agenda, in order to collaborate with team to attain common objectives;
