Customer Service & Logistics (CS&L) is where you?ll integrate our end-to-end demand-driven supply chain. Working ?from farm to shelf,? you?ll connect plants with customers to deliver best-in-class service in the most efficient way. Your goal will be to have the right products, at the right time, and with the right quantity and quality on the shelf.


The Market Demand Manager Canada is responsible for the Canadian demand plan, representing $1.5B in annual revenue and represents the face of demand planning in the Canadian market .They are accountable for bringing market intelligence into the Demand Planning process and for partnering with the Commercial organization and key stakeholders to drive demand planning excellence. The following describes key success criteria for a Market Demand Manager:

? Own and lead the monthly Canadian Market Demand Review process for all categories , working with Canadian market leadership, Sales Planning and Finance
? Ensure business agreement on the unconstrained & unbiased Canadian demand plan - volume and value for the future 12-18 month horizon to form the base of revenue, capacity, production & deployment planning
? Support the 18 ? 36 month Canadian strategic planning process
? Partner with sales to understand/challenge assumptions and market drivers including identification of market driven risks and opportunities
? Work with market sales to align on sales/marketing related building blocks & key customers and other internal partners to add any customer collaboration forecast to the base forecast
? Own the interaction with Supply Planning for the Category, including hand-off of demand to product supply and management of escalated demand-supply issues. Serve as a single point of contact in the market for all demand-supply imbalance issues
? Lead all efforts to communicate and deliver all sales forecast error and bias, CFR and DIOH targets within market. Own the gap analysis and continuous improvement process to ensure results delivery
? Provide iterative feedback to the Regional Category Demand Planners based on market intelligence and trends to finalize a quality market demand forecast
? Conduct periodic reviews of statistical forecast models with the Modeling team to adjust the model type, algorithm properties, and seasonality for a desired forecast
? Collaborate with Regional SCE Business Process Excellence Associate Director - Demand to drive continuous improvement across Demand Planning for the Market


? Leadership the Canadian Market Demand Review by gathering relevant inputs and creating the demand review deck. Provide the ?voice of reason? to ensure alignment on an unconstrained and unbiased Canadian business demand plan to support the 24 month planning horizon, AC development and strategic planning process. Obtain market leadership sign-off on the demand plan and ensure a productive IBP Demand Review discussion

? Collaborate with the Canadian leadership and sales, by reviewing forecast, uplifts, and other inputs, to drive continuous improvement and enhance forecast performance. Partner with the commercial teams to understand and challenge assumptions and market drivers to identify market driven risks and opportunities. Manage the forecast gap between consensus forecast and field intelligence, to generate a cohesive demand plan for the market

? Serve as a single point of contact in the markets by driving cross-functional collaboration to resolve all demand-supply imbalance issues. Escalate significant Planning Gaps to Senior Canadian Leadership (Marketing, Sales, Finance, and Product Supply) and facilitate cross-functional discussions on potential gap closing options. Ensure proactive communication, identification and resolution of issues to achieve Mondel?z service, inventory and Forecast accuracy/BIAS tar

? Management, mentorship and coaching of the Canadian Demand Planning team for all categories

? Collaborate with the Regional Category Demand Managers, Modeling COE and the Regional SCE Business Process Excellence Associate Director ? Demand, by reviewing current processes, ways of working, gaps and tools, to drive continuous improvement and enhance forecast performance


Directly responsible for leading the market/area demand reviews for assigned SKUs (with guidance and support from other stakeholders) totaling up to $1B in revenue per year.
Lead the Pre-Market Demand Review (DR) and Market DR and responsible for the following key KPIs: IBP Forecast Error, Demand Plan Error, Demand Plan Bias, and % Families in Error.



(Major:Operations / Supply Chain / Engineering)


1. Comprehensive Supply Chain, Demand Planning or Forecasting experience
2. Full Operational knowledge of SAP ECC / APO (preferred) or other Advanced Planning Systems through formal training & experience. Fully versed on Microsoft Office tools (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
3. Ability to evaluate different supply chain scenarios / trade-offs
4. CPG experience - Significant experience in driving demand review and participation in an IBP cycle
5. Market knowledge and experience

3. Project personal maturity and tact to effectively work with cross-functional team members to deal with conflicting priorities

4. Knowledgeable of leading practice demand planning concepts

5. Excellent problem solving skills, analytical skills, as well as verbal and written communication skills in English

6. APICS CPIM certified or similar accreditation - preferred.
