Job Description

Lead with us as you use your exceptional skill to develop and execute innovation packaging initiatives that support Kellogg brands, categories and customer objectives. Reporting to the Senior Manager, Supply Chain Operations, you will be responsible for developing the Canadian packaging strategy. In your role as an Innovation Packaging Manager at Kellogg, you will be part of our success by:

  • Providing support on technical analysis, evaluation, recommendation, and implementation of packaging materials design and configurations
  • Participating in project assessments
  • Developing prototypes for testing that meet package and financial objectives outlined in project requests
  • Determining critical package specification parameters. For new package materials, completes required documentation and specifications
  • Partnering with Packaging Engineering to understand and define process needs and capabilities as they relate to the targeted production line
  • Working with appropriate resources to schedule plant/equipment testing and provides test plan and ensuring adequate materials, resources, and timing for plant testing


As well as a hunger to learn and succeed, the ideal candidate for this role will demonstrate the following requirements:


  • Minimum post-secondary diploma or degree in Packaging technology or related field
  • Consistently demonstrated business experience including experience in packaged foods industry
  • Demonstrated excellent analytical, organizational, interpersonal, communication, presentation and people skills
  • Project Management and Technical skills experience are essential to effectively deliver packaging to meet project timelines
  • Valid driver’s license and passport for travel to the U.S.


  • Strong proficiency with PC applications, knowledge of SAP an asset
  • Superior time-management skills working in an autonomous environment with remote teams


Position works across Kellogg North America with cross functional and multi-level teams to accomplish projects/program objectives

30-40% travel to manufacturing facilities, co-packers and supplier in North America
