Job Description

We provide consumers with superior food and personal care products for a healthier way of life. We are currently seeking a qualified individual to fill the role ofMANAGER, DEMAND PLANNING.

The Manager, Demand Planning is responsible for providing leadership on the Sales and Operations process who lead statistical analysis and the collection of market inputs from multiple stakeholders to generate a consensus demand plan. This Supply Chain position is the organizational process owner for the Sales and Operation Planning (S&OP) activities, but also works cross functionally with Sales, Marketing, Supply Chain Planning and Finance to co-ordinate these activities.


  • Own and develop the demand forecast process
  • Lead S&OP processes, new product forecasting, and special pack and club pack
  • Execute and challenge statistical analytics (trending, growth, seasonality, discontinuation)
  • Ensure completeness of event inputs and their relative impact on the forecast
  • Integrate customer specific major impacts
  • Consolidate market projections and facilitate consensus across key stakeholders. Utilize POS information (where available) to develop trend analysis
  • Champion demand planning initiatives across the organization to maintain and improve the accuracy of product forecasts. Key Performance Metrics: Forecast Accuracy - Mean Absolute Percent Error (MAPE), Promotional Forecast Accuracy, New Product Forecast Accuracy, Forecast Bias, Fill Rate, Inventory, Slow Moving Obsolescence risk
  • Responsible for optimizing supply chain performance through collaboration with stakeholders on such variables as demand shaping, scenario planning and constraint management.
  • Manage the Demand Planning interaction and communication with Supply Chain Planning to ensure efficient planning processes
  • Actively benchmark processes and systems in order to improve overall processes and results
  • Seek and leverage synergies and opportunities with global supply chain counterparts
  • Partner with Finance and Sales to provide forecast updates as a basis for Financial Business Planning
  • Procedure writing and maintenance for all applicable processes


  • Demonstrated proficiency in MS Office software
  • Forecasting application knowledge is a must
  • Organized, reliable, flexible and results oriented
  • Highly self-motivated and a team player


  • University degree in Science, Engineering, Business or Logistics
  • Minimum 5-8 years’ experience in a multi-faceted business environment using automated demand and supply planning processes
  • Experience working with cross functional business partners and demonstrating a track record of facilitating consensus within and across work teams
  • Proven track record of effective supply chain performance, including customer service, supplier and asset management, and continuous process and systems improvement
  • Effective communication & presentation skills
  • Strong facilitation and analytical skills
