Job Description

We provide consumers with superior food and personal care products for a healthier way of life. We are currently seeking a qualified individual to fill the role of MANAGER, CUSTOMER MARKETING.

The Manager, Customer Marketing enables the achievement of volume and profit objectives by working with key HCC stakeholders (Sales/Marketing/Supply Chain/Trade Planning) to develop plans that are consumer and customer centered. A strategic member of a business team that represents the needs of both the customer and sales team.

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Works with the brand teams to help translate brand marketing plans into defined go-to market strategies by channel, which include pricing, promotion and assortment and shelf for assigned brands.

  • Collaborates with Business Teams on New Product Launches and Promotions, to ensure that we develop these initiatives with the understanding of key customer merchandising strategies.

  • Project management from idea through to execution of customer specific programs, working with marketing and business teams.(Innovation, Promotions, Merchandising )

  • Support new product launches or brand initiatives

  • Leads product supply communications to Trade Planning department, including discontinuations, product shortages or out of stocks, as well as any packaging or product up-dates

  • Supports Trade Planning department on Trade Spend Optimization analysis, and reviewing of the effectiveness of promotional strategies, in order to direct business team on required promotional strategies.

COMPETENCIES (Behavioural & Technical Skills)

  • Proficient on Nielsen Market Track/Channel Watch and using Workstation Plus

  • Ability to garner insights from various sources of data and create compelling selling stories

  • Excellent oral and written communication skills

  • Ability to interact professionally with all levels of the organization

  • Strong work ethic with ability to work with tight timelines

  • MS Office suite– advanced level

  • Detail oriented – ability to perform analysis

  • Excellent presentation skills

EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business/Commerce

  • 10 year of combined Sales & Customer Marketing experience with CPG companies (food/beverage industries preferred)
