The Product Manager will contribute to the success of Groupe SEB Canada marketing strategy for the Garment and Home Care business. Specific duties include:

  • Manager and development lead on marketing & communication program, initiatives, and tools that will increase brand visibility; including identification and liaison of appropriate external agency partners
  • Marketing Plan development, including identification of strategic new product, brand SWOT through proper analysis and evaluation of market demands and competitive activity from both a short and long-term business perspective
  • Grow and maintain respective category presence through product mix and development, in collaboration with respective strategic business units
  • Manage and ensure execution of all product launch related components, including packaging, instruction booklets, POP, and merchandising
  • Develop and establish local market awareness for linen and home care brands consistent with global brand strategy through appropriate tools and initiatives
  • Plan, organize and present trade line reviews and new product introductions to sales department
  • Plan, develop and implement sales promotions activities in collaboration with retail partners, sales department and agencies


  • Degree in Business Administration with concentration in Marketing (or equivalent experience)
  • 3 to 5 years experience in product management. Housewares industry preferred but not required
  • Fluent in English, French desirable
  • Strong analytical skill
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills – must be able to drive collaboration across functions
  • Highly developed presentation skills
  • Proven ability to take consumer insights and translate them into tangible business opportunities
  • Time management and organizational skills. Ability to work in a high-pressure environment with tight deadlines
  • Proficient in MS-Office and ability to learn new internal company software(s)
  • Travel: approximately 20%
