Candy Sales Manager
looking for an energetic Candy Sales Manager to join our team. You will work in a fast paced environment
alongside experienced and passionate team members with a goal of driving
profitable business growth and delivering against our Made Better Promise.
Main Duties and Responsibilities
Develop and execute long and short-term customer,
category and/or regional growth strategies and initiatives.
Develop account-specific business plans that deliver
incremental support and results with an intensified focus on innovation.
Achieve profit and net sales targets in assigned
area(s) of business.
Leverage key negotiation tactics to create 'win-win' opportunities with our key customers.
Work very closely with cross-functional counterparts
in sales, marketing, customer service, supply chain, manufacturing and finance
to ensure integration and executional excellence.
Provide accurate and timely product forecasts for
manufacturing and planning purposes.
Effectively manage Trade Spend Budget and continually seek
to improve Trade Spend Effectiveness.
Create winning partnerships with customers and
distributors, delivering enhanced value for all parties.
Leverage syndicated and internal data to drive
category leadership and market share growth.
Minimum 3-5 years of consistently exceeding sales
objectives in a key account environment.
Strong grocery background with Key Account Sales
Business or other relevant Bachelor’s degree or
Excellent business/ financial acumen.
Strong Critical Thinking Skills
Exceptional organizational and analytical skills; able
to quickly identify and prioritize key business development opportunities with
current and new accounts.
Excellent communication, presentation and negotiation
Effective both independently, and as part of a high
High sense of urgency and results-focused.
Able to travel throughout Canada & USA as
Available to attend customer trade events during
Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint),
SAP, Cognos and various syndicated data (Nielsen, IRI, Retail Link,
customer-specific POS) are all strong assets.
Valid driver’s license.
Valid passport or able to obtain.
