Position Summary:

The Talent Acquisition Specialist offers support in several areas of recruitment by executing policies and programs covering several or all of the following: managing aspects of the recruitment process for corporate, hourly and seasonal; reports and analytics; employee training.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Execute end to end recruitment process for corporate positions. Educate hiring managers on recruitment initiatives. Facilitate employment recommendations based on information obtained through behavioural interviewing, reference checks and other background checks.
  • Develop strong internal and external networks, acting as an Ambassador to raise the profile of both Constellation Brands and the function, promoting our EVP and delivering market intelligence to the business
  • Develop pipeline of internal/external talent for future needs and ensure regular communication takes place with this community. Support the creation of opportunity postings on both internal and external job boards and networking sites to meet talent needs in various markets
  • Maintains systems training, programs, procedures and develop and analyze reports on recruitment activities and metrics
  • Supports the execution and maintenance for Talent Acquisition policies and programs ie: employee referral program, candidate travel process/policy, background screening etc.
  • Provides process leadership and audits of recruitment practices and tools for retail, seasonal and hourly recruitment

Job Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business and/or Certificate in Human Resources.
  • 3 – 5 years’ experience in a Talent Acquisition role with demonstrated working knowledge in key Talent Acquisition functions including policy and program development, analytics and data driven metrics, training, recruitment, and employee relations.
  • Exercises considerable judgment and independent action on a variety of matters requiring confidentiality and diplomacy
  • Demonstrated ability to communicate across different levels within an organization
  • Strong communication skills (verbal & written) and presentation skills
  • Self-starter with exceptional project management skills
  • Team player with excellent interpersonal skills
  • Strong time management and organizational skills
  • Good analytical and problem solving skills
  • Ability to work under pressure and handle multiple tasks
  • Knowledge of Talent Acquisition systems (ATS- LinkedIn, Monster, Workday, Background Systems)
  • Ability to influence stakeholders and support change
